Analysis of a Low Budget Music Video - 1

The first low budget video is by, The Fix – Just got Paid, and what makes their music video so good is that overall it looks professional and believable, like it is a real music video. Firstly, they avoid viewer fatigue a lot, by changing the location throughout the video and also they changed their costumes, but they linked their video into the idea of a pop boy band like JLS and The Wanted. The performances from each person was really good as well because the lip-synching was on time making it more realistic and to go with the boy band idea they had created a dance sequence, frame 5, where each person was confident and they knew what they were doing. Lastly, what made this music video successful was the changing of camera shots and angles, I especially like frame 9 where the boys take in consideration of the rule of thirds making it look more like a picture and I also like frames 2 & 12 where the boys are standing in front of the lights, showing that the main focus is on them.
