Preliminary Task - Free Choice Lip Synch

After my 'In the Sun' lip synch task, I was set to to do my own lip synch task and I chose the song "Hey, Soul Sister" Glee version. During this task I created and performed it with a peer because I felt a lot more confident when performing the song, rather than being on my own.

Overall, I feel that the task went well for me, as I know that in this lip synch task I was a lot more confident in performing in front of the camera giving off a better performance for the viewer. Also, I believe that my editing had improved since the last time as the lip synching seems to be in time and looks believable when I am singing.


EBI:
For next time I feel that I could improve on a performance a little more, maybe begin to interact with my audience, making it more realistic that I am performing the song that I am singing. Also, during this video there are different angle types but I can further improve by using different locations or even a tracking/panning shot. But overall I feel that I have improved a lot from the first lip synch task.

Lip Sync Preliminary Task

What Went Well:
Firstly, I felt it went well due to the fact that I had learnt the lyrics to the song 'In the Sun' by She & Him, which then made it a lot easier to edit the clips to music. Also, I feel that I had edited the music lyrics to the lip syncing really closely, making it look much better as a video. Lastly, I feel it went well as it had built up my confidence more and I don't feel as shy in front of the camera, then allowing me to go on and produce a good music video.

Even Better If:
I believe that the cinematography in the task could have been more exciting, even though we were just lip syncing, but we could have used a variety of shots and angles, like long shot or low angle shot to make it more exciting. Also, some of the lip syncing could have been more precise at points and lastly maybe I could have moved around more, mot looking uncomfortable in front of the camera.
