Peer assessment (from Cameron) -At a guess a I would say that this genre of music would be Indie, I know this because I can name most of the bands and the fact that they have a slightly alternative look to them. -I would say that this mood board is very good, because it encompasses: performances, album cover, pictures of the band and a variety of artists. All in all a very good mood board. -The first convention I can identify is that most of the artists are in bands, there are few indie solo artists on this mood board. The second convention is that everyone seems to be in smart dress (lots of jackets and waistcoats etc) this makes them stand out from the crowd and connotes that their music is as stand-out as they are. Finally a lot of the images are in black and white, which shows how some of the music is more old fashioned. -This mood board could be improved if it had more album covers on it, and some video screenshots (I know you couldnt do it in A17 but it would improve it) -WWW-lots of bands, variety of images, -EBI-no video screen shots, few album covers
